about

What Life Is All About? A gritty blues ballad written circa 1977, a song about young life, love and all it’s weirdness. In this Retoons production, the track fades into a guitar solo inspired by, and played as homage to, one of my guitar hero's, Frank Zappa.

lyrics

Lover let your love be mine
Com on baby the clock of time
Is ticking

With your eyes
Oh baby, see what life is all about
All about
Well I don’t know
What life’s about
Life’s about

Now that I’ve
Come to you
I find myself
I find you out in the clouds
With me on your mind

Come on down
To the ground
Speak those sounds that
I long to hear

When you’re out
And on your own
People notice you

Your hair and your eyes
The way that it lays
Your walk and all of what you is

Love is Good
Love is free
Love is sharing
Love is all of that
Love is
What life is all about

about

KCJ RAR York, UK

KCJ RAR's Project Retoons, recreating my songs from the 70's and 80's, layering vocals, guitars and virtual instruments to create classic rock numbers that never were; symphonic prog epics that could have been; and avant-garde psychedelic art rock grooves that surely fill a gap in music history!
In short, a lot of fun reliving my youth.
